Job Summary

We are actively seeking detail-oriented, highly analytical individuals to join our retail inventory team. As an Inventory Associate, you will be trained to master our inventory management software, ensuring that essential health products, cosmetics, and convenience items are always in stock. You will serve as the backbone of our supply chain, delivering the signature reliability that sets Walgreens apart in the pharmacy retail industry. Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Cycle Counting: Utilize handheld smart scanners to perform daily and weekly cycle counts, ensuring the systemic inventory matches the physical products on the shelf.
• Freight Intake: Process weekly vendor deliveries, verifying packing slips against actual received merchandise and identifying shortages or overages immediately.
• Backroom Organization: Keep the stockroom perfectly organized, utilizing strategic binning methods to ensure overstock can be found quickly.
• Outdate Management: Conduct rigorous expiration date audits across all consumable and over-the-counter medication categories, removing expired goods to ensure customer safety.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age upon application.
• High School diploma or GED preferred; no prior inventory or retail experience required as full training is provided.
• Must possess an incredibly sharp eye for detail and the ability to operate digital scanning technology.
• Ability to walk, bend, climb step stools, and safely lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
