Job Summary
We are actively seeking physically strong, fast-moving, and team-oriented individuals to join our Freight team. As an Overnight Stocker, you will be responsible for unloading trailers and packing out heavy freight while the store is closed. You will serve as the logistical backbone, delivering the signature abundance that sets The Home Depot apart in the home improvement industry. Comprehensive Responsibilities
- Trailer Unloading: Work as a coordinated team to safely and rapidly unload daily freight trucks, sorting merchandise onto rolling carts for floor distribution.
- Freight Pack-Out: Stock heavy items—from power tools to plumbing supplies—into their correct bays, utilizing handheld scanners for inventory accuracy.
- Equipment Operation: Learn to safely operate industrial equipment, including electric pallet jacks, order pickers, and reach trucks (certification provided).
- Aisle Organization: Keep the aisles clear of hazards, breaking down massive amounts of cardboard and operating the industrial baler safely.
