Job Summary

We are actively seeking observant, friendly, and tech-comfortable individuals to join our Front of Store team. As a Self-Checkout Attendant, you will be trained to monitor multiple registers simultaneously, troubleshooting errors and assisting guests with scanning. You will serve as an active host, delivering the signature joy and efficiency that sets Target apart in the retail industry. Comprehensive Responsibilities

• Active Hosting: Greet guests as they enter the SCO (Self-Checkout) area, directing them to open registers and managing the queue during peak rushes.
• Transaction Assistance: Step in proactively to help guests scan large or heavy items, remove electronic security tags, and look up fresh produce codes.
• Intervention & Troubleshooting: Respond rapidly to machine alerts (e.g., scale errors, ID verification for age-restricted items) to keep transactions moving without frustration.
• Asset Protection Support: Maintain a vigilant presence, ensuring all items in a guest's cart are properly scanned before they bag them and exit.
